NBA Draft Odds- Let's Gamble On The Lunacy of GMs

Logans.com (via Covers.com ) has an article laying out the odds on the #1 overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft. So just in case you feel like laying some money down on what Paxson will do, you can.  Other options include lighting your money on fire, giving all your stuff away and living destitute, and running into a door knob with your pelvis.

Here are the odds:

2008 NBA DRAFT – WHO WILL BE FIRST OVERALL PICK

Derrick Rose (Memphis)                      10-13

Michael Beasley (Kansas State)                1-1

Brook Lopez (Stanford)                         50-1

OJ Mayo (USC)                                    50-1

Kevin Love (UCLA)                            250-1

Field (any other player)               50-1

Woo-hoo! Brook Lopez at 50-1! Lock me down!

This would be a lot more fun if you had a GM like Kevin McHale with the first pick because you would have to consider the possibility of them making a pick like they’re trying to get fired.
