Hey, so remember when I said that Pops Mensah-Bonsu was ahead of Joey Dorsey on the Rockets' depth chart? That is no longer a true fact. Deeks with his Bulls hat on does a good job of listing all of the things M-B can do (which is a fair amount). Brian Cook has to have one of the sweetest rides in the NBA, no? He never plays (nor should he, really) but his team can't waive him, so instead they get rid of better players.

With the D-League, you mean?

No idea. I doubt he’ll go over to Europe, since he absolutely can play in the NBA and should be at the top of every team’s list in case they need to sign a big man. I don’t know whether he’ll sign up with the D-League or just sit back and wait for a call.

Ridiculous Upside, where developing talent and winning are not mutually exclusive.
