Boom Goes The Dynamite!

Finally, another call-up! No, Pops hasn't been called up. It's our good buddy Alex Del Barrio (left) who will be working with the Houston Rockets radio crew tomorrow night, essentially being called-up from the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. "I think the thing people need to remember is that that D-League is about development, and that doesn't just mean players," RGV President and General Manager Brian Michael Cooper said.
After Bakersfield's Vance Palm (right) did the Showcase, all we need is Dakota's Scott Woodmansee to get a little love (May I suggest Vegas Summer League) and three of the D-League's finest will finally be getting the chances they deserve. In semi-related news, Boom Goes The Dynamite, at the Oscars.

Is that your backpack
I was sitting next to Alex a few days ago when the Vipers were in Bakersfield to play the Jam. He had his backpack sitting under the table where I sit and I have the same colored black backpack. At the end of the game I grabbed his, opened it and was rifling through it thinking it was mine. Of course, his mind was in radioland. I don’t think he even noticed. Radio guys…
Why does is look like a sock is coming out of Vance’s right ear. I’m going to have to talk to him about that…
VP
used to dabble in Magic. That’s why everyone calls him the Magic Man. Or more recently, V-Pizzle.
Ridiculous? I think Not.
Upside? Plenty.
