Someone has to get called, right?

Just wondering, the celtics will be missing five players vs the heat. Will someone get called up? Is that even how it works? Bill "should'of stayed in college" Walker and JR "Don't-bring-a-knife to-a knife-fight" Giddens are/were there rookies, the may have moved Giddens. Any thoughts?

Maybe they are trying to throw the seaons to get the number one pick?

Wow.

I’d assume I would have heard if someone was getting called up tonight, but it does kind of scare me that they’re going with 10 and not calling up the D-League…

Ridiculous? I think Not.
Upside? Plenty.

I very much doubt it

At least if these remaining guys stay healthy. As Doc said the other day, what’s the point? The moment they’re starting to understand the team schemes, the contract is over and they have to go… And we essentially need an additional big man, who are the guys available now? I liked Pops when he was with Treviso and with the Penya, but he’s gone. Sims is a stiff. Hendrix, ditto. Earl Barron is available? Him and Chris Richard would probably be the best options, I guess.

Walker and Giddens will see some minutes, that I can see happening. A new guy, I don’t think so.

Haha

Chris Richard has been out for quite awhile. Hendrix isn’t a stiff. Sims, maybe.

Oh, that's a shame

I saw him a couple of months ago vs. the Flash, in a game where Walker scored almost 30 points. As always he was limited but showed solid post defence and rebounding. Sims a stiff; Hendrix is not technically one but he plays the role.

Anyway, I doubt a call-up is in the plans.
