Around SBN: My First Fight: Diego Sanchez

To my knowledge, the only rap video about the D-League. Hat Tip goes to Nick Belardes and FaceBakersfield.

Sweet jesus that's awesome

My favorite part is when Mateen Cleaves dribbles down the court and throws a nice entry pass into the paint. The only rap video I’ve seen that rivals this is here “When you’re done then you’re done.”

That's awesome

I should have mentioned, but this is my favorite current or former D-League music video. Ever. Joe Wolf FTW.

The only way this video could have gotten better

is if Swish had rapped some lyrics in an overdubbed, goofy-ass cartoon voice (something similar to Goofy). That would have torn the roof off the sucker.

I was thinking that

Vance Palm, you’ve got voices. Can we get a re-re-remix??

So Scott...

How is your Friday night going? Because so far I’ve tallied that you and I have been responding to one another’s mediocre post jokes for about an hour. Either Jrose and Jon L have better things to do or they are trolling while watching the Futurecast.

Awesome!

Jon L went to Houston for a crawfish boil, according to his last twitter update.

JRose, I have no clue. Probably with the rest of his frat doing bong hits and writing rap music or he’s watching this mostly complete game, 11 parts, on Youtube of Yuta Tabuse because he can’t stand to watch a Jasper Johnson game..

And actually, I’m going to the bar. To meet 2 girls. Boom got the DOS! Or not.

Bar? And girls?

Please Scott…. you can lie all you want about Sun Yue’s height, ball handling skills, and left-handedness, but leave two girls….excuse me, THE two girls in North Dakota out of this.

I'll take pictures if they allow it.

Full report will be up tomorrow morning. Since futurecast was impossible to watch, I’ll come home, write about my love for Josh Davis, my couple pitchers of Bud Light, my 2 fish sandwiches from McDonald’s, and coming home to blog about Othella Harrington’s career. I love my life.

As you should

O. Harrington recorded 21 boards in the 1991 Mcdonalds All-American game. That’s the first and last thing I know about him. Have fun at the bar, I’m going to think of something funny to write a Fanpost about, in hopes that it will get magically picked up by Truehoop and I can quit my job and write a sports humor blog full-time.

No pictures

But neither had teeth as the ones below. And neither were asian. And I failed on all accounts. And no fan post. Lots of things I’m disapppointed about.

Don't worry Scott

I’m currently working on one of the most glorious/humorous Fanposts of all-time. It’ll blow the Mascot post out of the water. Anyway, hope you at keast had your MCDonalds fish sandwich.

Settled for Wendy's

So much more disappointing. Had 2 McDonald’s for lunch for $3.33, Wendy’s 1 was for $3.19.

My decision making has nothing on Sun Yue.

Rappa Mascot

Thanks for posting this video, Scotty. It’s all about being goofy, having fun with the mascot and promoting the NBA D League. This is an experiment for us. If it works well we’ll do some more with other local artists and make the videos crazier, and of course always include Swish, because he’s a rad fox…

I did something similar with minor league hockey here. Only with that we released an entire CD.

I agree that a crazy Swish overdub would have been a blast. – Nick

Jam Jam Video

This is such a nice promotional video for the Bakersfield Jam. I just sooooo love Swish! I would love to see more stuff like this come from D-League fans all over! :)
