Maureece Rice to Play for Cleveland Cavaliers in Vegas Summer League

"From having Erie coach John Treloar help them evaluate talent to inviting BayHawks star Maureece Rice to play for their summer league team, the Cavaliers continue to open their doors to the D-League franchise."
The article also mentions a D-League and overseas player try-out June 27-29 - which the Cavs will invite former Bayhawks Ivan Harris and Jarvis Gunter, among others.

Ivan could really get a shot with the Cavs. He is a gritty defender and has one of the smoother shots I have ever seen in person.

I assume

After that camp, he’ll probably end up on their Summer League team. After that though, who knows. I don’t think he’s ready to start the season on an NBA roster.

It seems odd

that they’d have him participate in another camp when he was already part of the D-League mini-camp and played for the BayHawks last year. I’d think that by this point they either like what they see or they don’t.
