2009 NBA Summer League Schedule
The most important thing for us D-League followers is that the D-League Select Team (I'm working on learning the roster) will have play the Timberwolves, Kings, Nuggets, Trailblazers and the Suns. I'm most excited to watch the D-League vs. Suns game with Phoenix Stan - should be quite the barn burner.
After the jump, I've typed the entire schedule out for you, loyal reader. This week I'll try confirming more Summer League roster players, so stay tuned! Myself, along with a myriad of other SBN bloggers will be down there as well - I'm getting excited - So seriously, save the date. It's going to be be awesome like Slater and Jesse duets, minus the heartbreak - hopefully.

Mascots
Scott, can you please check your sources to find out of the near by and otherwise unengaged Jam mascot will be there to represent the D-league Mashups?

I can't wait....
the summer league always offers some kind of insanity every year.

Not sure if you're aware
But I was one of two that unveiled it. Also, see the dude with man boobs in the corner? Me baby! I had to suffer through with an XL shirt last summer.

Oh, I thought you were the whale at the bottom left....
wearing ornage and rocking some glasses, laptop, and lanyard. Were you also the guy that took the jersey down after the reitirement?

Honestly
My new computer screen is so terrible, I would’ve hoped that was me. I can see nothing of that picture except the number 4 and my breasts.

My respect for you has grown exponentially on this day
That was one of my finest basketball related memories ever going all the way back to watching Walter Davis and Paul Westphal and Alvan Adams run the original 7 SOL.
Please tell me this was your idea? The brilliance of hanging his jersey on that empty gym wall….unreal

You mean you're jealous
Because Phoenix Stan got pictures of me with JA Adande, David Aldridge and Danilo Galinari (Who I actually had dinner with one night as well).
I was a stone cold pimp in that.

I saw Danilo standing near you in that one pic.
That was pretty pimp….but David Aldridge? You expect me to be jealous of that?

Haha
I can’t take that much credit. That’d be the higher ups decision. Myself, I was tall and near, so I was able to partake in the bewonderment of unveiling this jersey via the black table cloth. You may have caught it (me) as the number 10 play on SportsCenter the next morning? July 21st. How I wish I could find that archived.
Memories.

Seriously
you have to tell me. They KNEW that they were making fun of Nate right? No one possibly thought this was serious.

It was D’antoni’s brother that said to do it, if I remember correctly.

Scott and I spent a good 4 hours searching the internet for any video from this event a few months ago....
your slideshow proves it’s epic-ity (epicness?).

going thru my pics
from that week – this event by far has the most coverage. And that comment btw was an attempt at embedding the Flikr slideshow but it didn’t work. There was a time when Scott trusted me enough to give me admin rights and I could have deleted that but I think he’s still holding a swine related grudge
