Duane Ticknor Hired as Sioux Falls Assistant

We've just learned that former Dakota Wizards head coach Duane Ticknor was hired as an assistant coach by the Sioux Falls Skyforce.  Ticknor had coached the Wizards for the past two seasons before stepping down for health reasons.  Before that Ticknor spent, well, a lot of years coaching at the collegiate level as well as in the IBA and CBA.  I don't know if these discussions came before the Bakersfield job opened, but Ticknor and his family live in Vermilion, S.D., so it's possible this is exactly the job he wanted.  Whatever the case, this is a great move for Sioux Falls, and we wish Coach Ticknor the best of luck.
