Good for Erie, tough for Tulsa

Erie was a playoff team but managed to get the number two pick (Austin, Utah and Bakersfield also did well). Tulsa, meanwhile, was one of the worst teams in the league but got stuck at the bottom.

Ridiculous Upside, where developing talent and winning are not mutually exclusive.

And last year Erie was an expansion team and picked in the bottom half of the draft while Tulsa had the 1st pick. Definitely not a perfect system.

Correction: Erie had the 7th pick last year.
