San Fran Chronicle writer thinks Warriors should call up IA Energy Starting Five

Although premise is tongue in cheek, writer giving the league some props.  Apologies if old news. Here's a section from the article with link to follow:

Players need time to learn to play together, develop chemistry. D-Leaguer Cartier Martin was starting to blend in well but had to be cut loose after two 10-day contracts.

What to do? The Warriors should call up an entire D-League team. Sign all five starters to back-to-back 10-day contracts. Instant cohesive starting five for 20 games.

Bring up the Iowa Energy; they have the best record in the D-League, and well-balanced scoring, so apparently they pass the ball around.

Some stickler will point out that roster rules won't permit such a wholesale call-up, but they should. Otherwise, the Warriors will continue to have a playground pickup-team look, with two or three new faces on the court every game.

that would be really entertaining

but i doubt it’ll happen. the warriors should though. they suck, nellie’s unpredictable as is, and they’ve already called up a ton of guys.
