Need A Point Guard? You Should Have Watched the VERSUS game
As I told you yesterday, I took the weekend off from blogging and Jon L was partying somewhere strange last night, so again, no recaps.
Instead, I stole the highlights from last night's VERSUS game - Tulsa at Rio Grande Valley - featuring the two most NBA-ready point guards in the D-League, Mustafa Shakur and Will Conroy. I'll let the soothing narrations of THE Alex Del Barrio explain the rest.

ADB's narration
was practically a nursery rhyme it was so smooth.

What do you guys think about a guy like Trey Johnson being called up to the Timberwolves...
and playing next to Flynn/Sessions at SG?
I tried to rally a plea for Reggie Williams before he got called up by the Warriors. Now I’m sad.
Just wondering what you guys think. The wolves need major help on the wings. I doubt they would actually ever call anyone up though because it makes way too much sense to develop young players instead of giving actual NBA minutes in actual NBA games to guys like Sasha Pavlobrick. Sigh.
There are so many D-League options for the Timberwolves
But, unfortunately as you said, I don’t think they will.
For all of the hype that Kahn was getting about being this great user of the D-League, he really seems to have no faith in actually using it. Of course, he used it more to make a quick buck than anything else, but still.

The recent flattery
has been overwhelming. Thanks to the folks at RU for all the positive pub. It is very much appreciated.
