Maine Red Claws' forward Chris Wright jammed an alley-oop dunk in the first quarter against the Canton Charge to give his team the early lead.

Chris Wright punished the rim on Thursday night.

In the evening matchup between the Canton Charge and Maine Red Claws, Chris Wright threw down an impressive one-handed alley-oop dunk to give his team the early 4-2 lead. The Red Claws forced a turnover before quickly pushing the ball down the floor, which led to the highlight.

After Wright poked the ball away, center Zeke Marshall retrieved it before dishing it off to guard Frank Gaines, who was already by halfcourt. Wright had wisely been trailing the play, which allowed him to cut to the basket on the fast break, receive the pass from his teammate and forcefully dunk the ball.

You can see the eye-popping play below.

Wright finished with 20 points, shooting 8-of-16 from the field. The 25-year-old also contributed with seven rebounds, three blocked shots and two steals. The Red Claws (15-20) upset the division-leading Charge (22-14) 110-105.
