I hope they handed this out to Alec Burks too and added coach Corbin's name...
Was going through my old basketball cards trying to find Khalid El-Amin in a Dakota Wizards jersey and stumbled upon this card of current Memphis Grizzlies assistant and former D-League head coach Dave Joerger. Go Grizzlies!
Until I figure out what my future holds post-FanHouse (current possibilities include becoming a young Patrick Swayze circa Road House or ... that's it for now), I'll probably work on bringing Ridiculous Upside back to life. Happy Birthday!
Yes, that is the venerable Nightmare Ant - mascot of the Fort Wayne Mad Ants - rocking his favorite Christmas vest. Merry (day after) Christmas, you filthy animals.
Erie BayHawks' head coach John Treloar will resign from that position to become the Director of Player Personnel for the Phoenix Suns. Treloar, the first and only head coach in BayHawks' history, led the team to a 48-52 overall record over two seasons, including a playoff berth during the team's expansion season in 2008-09. The move to Phoenix was more than likely helped by Treloar's history with new Suns general manager Lance Blanks, as Blanks worked closely with Treloar during his time as the assistant general manager with the Cleveland Cavaliers. The BayHawks are affiliated with the Cleveland Cavaliers and ran the team's offense under Treloar. For more on the story, check the full report at FanHouse.
Greg Ostertag is apparently attempting to continue his NBA comeback (attempt) in the D-League. Seriously.
