Was going through my old basketball cards trying to find Khalid El-Amin in a Dakota Wizards jersey and stumbled upon this card of current Memphis Grizzlies assistant and former D-League head coach Dave Joerger. Go Grizzlies!

Until I figure out what my future holds post-FanHouse (current possibilities include becoming a young Patrick Swayze circa Road House or ... that's it for now), I'll probably work on bringing Ridiculous Upside back to life. Happy Birthday!

Erie BayHawks' head coach John Treloar will resign from that position to become the Director of Player Personnel for the Phoenix Suns. Treloar, the first and only head coach in BayHawks' history, led the team to a 48-52 overall record over two seasons, including a playoff berth during the team's expansion season in 2008-09. The move to Phoenix was more than likely helped by Treloar's history with new Suns general manager Lance Blanks, as Blanks worked closely with Treloar during his time as the assistant general manager with the Cleveland Cavaliers. The BayHawks are affiliated with the Cleveland Cavaliers and ran the team's offense under Treloar. For more on the story, check the full report at FanHouse.

Trent Plaisted Going To Camp With Philadelphia 76ers Training camp invites are continuing to trickle in, most recently Plaisted's with the Sixers. Plaisted played well with the Sixers' entry in the Orlando summer league, and then with Chicago in the Las Vegas summer league, before deciding to go to camp with Philadelphia. The Sixers, who have 14 players under contract, will open camp Sept. 28 at Saint Joseph's University. Former D-Fender Joe Crawford Invited To Sacramento Kings' Camp From my report over at Aol FanHouse: After averaging 19.5 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 75 games during his two seasons with the D-Fenders, Crawford left the D-League in March to play for the Jiangsu Dragons in China, where he averaged over 20 points and five rebounds per game. This performance no doubt is the reason that the Orlando Magic signed Crawford, the older brother of recent Atlanta Hawks draft pick Jordan Crawford, to play for the team in the Orlando Pro Summer League in July. With the Magic, Crawford played four games and averaged 17.8 points while shooting 43 percent from beyond the arc. Crawford's best game in Orlando came against Terrence Williams and the New Jersey Nets when he scored 29 points on 10 of 13 shooting from the field while holding the former first-round pick to 22 points and 8-of-26 shooting.
