The Oklahoma City Thunder today re-assigned D.J. White to the team’s NBA Development League affiliate Tulsa 66ers. White’s re-assignment is the 39th of the 2008-09 NBA D-League season and his second. He was initially assigned to Tulsa on March 18 before being recalled on March 23. During his first stint with the 66ers, White averaged 17.3 points, 9.7 rebounds, 2.0 blocks and 1.0 assist in 37.7 minutes in three games. The 6-9 forward has yet to appear in a game for the Thunder this season after undergoing jaw surgery on Oct. 9, 2008. He was cleared by doctors on March 16 to resume full contact drills, two days prior to his first assignment to the 66ers.
