The D-League yesterday released the schedule for next season's Showcase. It's going to be held from January 4-7 in Boise, Idaho, where it was in 2008. Every team will be participating, and the Showcase is a way for general managers and other front office types from all of the NBA teams to gather in one place and take a look at D-League talent. It seems a little silly to me to have teams like Albuquerque, Tulsa and Rio Grande Valley travel all the way to Boise to play each other, but if there's one thing this blog repeatedly proves is that I am not and probably should not be in charge of the D-League. Here's the schedule (all times Mountain):
January 4
Rio Grande Valley vs. Albuquerque | 11 a.m. |
Los Angeles vs. Maine | 1:45 p.m. |
