Saturday Las Vegas Summer League SB Nation NBA Links

As Las Vegas Summer League competition continues on Saturday, let's take a look at some of the better links across SB Nation NBA.

USA TODAY Sports

With the teams still in the winners' bracket of Las Vegas Summer League set to continue competing in Sin City on Saturday, let's take a look at some of the better updates, features, etc. from some of the other SB Nation NBA sites.

Summer League is all about following some of the D-League's better players to monitor their progress and see if they show signs of being able to make worthwhile contributions to an NBA team next season. With that in mind, my buddy Mike Prada of BulletsForever.com spoke to former RGV Vipers' coach Nick Nurse (who this offseason received a call-up to his own as assistant coach of the Raptors) about NBADL Finals MVP turned Wizards' draft choice Glen Rice Jr,'s NBA potential.

There are certainly plenty of ups and downs during Summer League competition, and up until Friday, the Knicks' offseason squad encountered more bad than good in Las Vegas. That said, New York made sure to close out the week with a surprisingly commanding victory over the Clippers. My pal Seth of PostingandToasting.com discussed what went right for the Knicks in this piece here.

There seems to be more about Summer League than meets the eye. It's not just all about basketball. Andy of GoldenStateofMind.com highlights the ongoing balance of business and pleasure while the young guns are in Sin City here.

And lastly, Lisa of MavsMoneyball.com continues with an off the court look at why fans keep coming back as they crave more and more Summer League competition year after year.

That's all for now...enjoy Saturday Summer League!
