Fresh off spending this past season in the NBA D-League, both Thanasis Antetokounmpo (Delaware 87ers) and P.J. Hairston (Texas Legends) hit the hardwood at the NBA Draft Combine in Chicago this week.
Antetokounmpo and Hairston are two of six NBA Draft eligible players to have strutted their stuff in the minor league this past year. Needless to say, such a path is quite a unique one. Still, after watching after watching 2013 D-League Finals hero Glen Rice Jr. progress from minor league standout to NBA Draft second round pick, it's easy to understand that such young guns can find success following a D-League stint.
Below is a video clip of one of Antetokounmpo's huddles with the media, during which he discussed how the D-League has helped him along to this very point in his still young career.
