2014 NBA Summer League Schedule Announced; D-League Select Team to Participate Again

The NBA Summer League schedule has been announced, and the D-League Select team is set to participate once again.

The NBA has announced its full schedule for 2014 Summer League in Las Vegas. Fresh off an impressive showing last year (the squad went 4-1), the NBADL will once again put together a competitive team, known as "D-League Select," to face off against the participating NBA squads during the session.

For the second consecutive year, Summer League will feature a tournament-style schedule. Each team will play three games leading up to July 15th, and the tournament will be organized according to team seeding the rest of the way. Each squad is still required to play a minimum of two games more after that.

Last summer, the D-League Select Team was led by this season's Most Valuable Player, Ron Howard. Former Canton Charge head coach Alex Jensen handled the X's and O's last year, whereas D-League title winning coach Conner Henry will guide the summer squad next month. (Edit: our buddy Gino Pilato initially reported this last month as well).

The team's schedule is as follows:

NBA D-League Select Schedule (all times listed are Pacific):

Friday, July 11 7:30 PM NBA D-League vs. New Orleans Thomas & Mack
Sunday, July 13 3:30 PM Atlanta vs. NBA D-League Thomas & Mack
Monday, July 14 1:30 PM Sacramento vs. NBA D-League Thomas & Mack
