Report: Santa Cruz Warriors Changing Things Up In The Front Office?

The Santa Cruz Warriors will be changing things up a bit in the front office, according to a report.

Late last week, it was reported that Jonnie West (the youngest son of NBA legend Jerry West) had been promoted to Associate General Manager of the Santa Cruz Warriors.

What the nature of holding such a position entails is anyone's guess, but if one thing is for sure, it's that Santa Cruz's front office was sure to get a little crowded with the addition of West, given that Kirk Lacob and Andrew Loomis had previously been holding positions of General Manager and Assistant General Manager, respectively.

But that's all about to change, according to our buddy Adam Johnson of SeaDubsCentral.com. He's reporting that Lacob will shift his attention to assisting the Golden State Warriors full-time, while Loomis has reportedly accepted a position with the Detroit Pistons.

How West's arrival will help fill these subsequent voids remains to be seen. Still, it would appear likely that the Warriors will still want to fill out the staff around the 26 year old, a former a basketball player at West Virginia University.

Along with a new front office staff, Santa Cruz's look on the court figures to be a bit different, too. With the likes of Lance Goulbourne and Cameron Jones heading overseas, a young gun like Aaron Craft (who is expected to participate in training camp with Golden State) could help fill the void there.
