Cavaliers vs. Warriors Game 5 GameThread: NBA D-League Edition

Game five of the 2015 NBA Finals is set to begin on Sunday night.

David Richard-USA TODAY Sports

On Sunday night at 8PM EST, the Warriors and Cavaliers will hit the hardwood at Oracle Arena for game five of the 2015 NBA Finals. The series is tied at two games a piece.

In all, there are six D-League alumni gracing these two rosters --- the Cavs' Joe Harris, and Warriors' Justin Holiday, Ognjen Kuzmic and James Michael McAdooFestus Ezeli, and Shaun Livingston.

Following a solid performance in game three, Ezeli was benched for all of game four as Andrew Bogut assumed sixth man duties by coming off the pine. That said, other D-League alumni appeared in the game for the first time this series. Livingston boasted an eye-popping team-high plus/minus of +25, all the while logging 7 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists. McAdoo and Holiday both appeared in the final minutes of Golden State's 103-82 victory over the Cavaliers, as did Joe Harris of Cleveland.

It'll be interesting to see if the Warriors will turn to Ezeli again in the series, and/or if the minor league alums will see action at another point, perhaps on Sunday. Enjoy game five.
