NBA Mock Draft: Chicago Bulls Select Wade Baldwin From Vanderbilt

SB Nation's NBA Network conducted a mock draft with bloggers from each team site making or trading "their" team's pick. We continue with the next pick in the 2016 NBA Mock Draft, with Blog A Bull discussing their selection of Wade Baldwin.

NBA Mock Draft Pick #14 -- Wade Baldwin, Point Guard, Vanderbilt

SBNation's Chicago Bulls' blog, Blog A Bull, explains their pick:

The Bulls need to improve their shooting, athleticism and length, and Baldwin checks all three boxes. With Derrick Rose entering the final year of his contract, Baldwin provides the Bulls with a young player to develop if this is Rose's last year in Chicago. We think his spot-up shooting will be a great fit alongside Jimmy Butler, and we're hoping that his 6'11 wingspan will eventually help get the Bulls back to competence defensively.

Ridiculous Upside analysis: With a team that might be heading into a rebuilding period, the addition of a versatile player in Wade Baldwin would be a great move. Baldwin will provide the Bulls with a knock-down perimeter shooter that also has continued to make improvements as a facilitator. Alongside that, his great frame (6'4 with a 6'11 wingspan) could allow him to be a vital part of the Bulls defense for years to come.
