From January 10th through the 13th, all 26 G League teams spent their time trying to stay warm in Mississaugua, Ontario as they competed in the 14th annual NBA G League Showcase. As the marquee event of the year, prospects all over the G League used those four days to try to strut their stuff in front of NBA scouts in an attempt to either to get a shot in the Association with either a two-way or 10-day contract.

Although there were a cornucopia of players that impressed during this event, Ridiculous Upside is proud to announce the fifteen standouts from the 2018 NBA G League Showcase. The criteria behind these picks had more to do with that player’s overall efficiency than with whether his team won or loss. While winning is obviously an important part of the G League, it takes a step back in an event like this that is heavily player-oriented. To help give as many G League players and teams some shine, we’ve limited these lists to just one prospect per team. After our picks for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd team, we’ll give you some honorable mentions of players that didn’t quite make the final cut.

In addition to that, we’ve also cared an All-Assignee team to celebrate the prospects that shined in the Showcase that were on a standard NBA deal at the time of that event.
