The NBA G League added to its roster of promising prospects for the 2018 Player Invitational, formally recognized as the league’s annual “national tryout.” In addition to the original list, Nick Dixon of UT-Rio Grande Valley, Kahlil Dukes of Niagara, and Micah Seaborn from Monmouth are among those poised to compete in Chicago the weekend of August 11th.

What’s more, the league announced that the event will officially span over two days, with “GLPI Invited Player Session” taking place on Sunday the 12th.

Even with just days remaining before the event kicks off, there could be other changes in store. Kerem Kanter, a former Xavier athlete and brother of NBA big man Enes Kanter, has been expected to participate. However, he recently announced his signing in France for the upcoming season.

It’ll be interesting to see if he shows up because his contract has a stateside out clause, or if any other prospects on the roster signing overseas deals before the event.
