From December 19th through the 22nd, all 28 teams spent their time in the hot desert air of Las Vegas, Nevada to compete in the 2019 G League Winter Showcase. For the first time in history, four teams (Wisconsin, Salt Lake City, Memphis, and Grand Rapids) competed in a small tournament that ended with the Stars winning the $100,000 grand prize. Meanwhile, the players on the 24 other teams still had an opportunity to improve their regular season record while the players showed their skills in front of numerous NBA and international scouts and executives.
Although there were numerous players that impressed during the Winter Showcase, Ridiculous Upside would like to announce the fifteen standouts from the event. The selections had more to do with their overall performance and efficiency than whether their team won or less. In addition to the fifteen players on G League or two-way deals, we have an All-Assignee team to celebrate the players on standard NBA deals that shined during the four day event.
