Zak Irvin started out his second season in Mexico with Abejas de Guanajuato. He spent a month with the team then returned to the Big Apple. He said when he was done in Mexico, Westchester said the team would love to have him back and he expressed his love to return to the organization.

Irvin made a great impact in Westchester due to his versatility and defensive skills. He was an effective player on both ends, which resulted in him being a potential call-up candidate at the end of the 2018-19 season. He showed off turnovers that he could make nifty passes, which resulted in points in transition.

Irvin posted a double-double in one of Westchester’s playoff games. He recorded eight double-doubles in his second season and is one of seven Knicks to record 10 or more double-doubles in their Westchester career.

After the season finished, Irvin competed at the G League Elite Camp. He will be on the Knicks’ Summer League roster.
