After a productive first year with the Westchester Knicks, Devon Baulkman returned to the team for a second season. Baulkman is a player who takes great pride on defense and has shown to make a great impact on that end of the floor. He played a role in Westchester becoming one of the top defenses in the G League, which was how the Knicks formed their identity.

He has shown to reject a screen from an opposing player and keep his energy going to block Vander Blue’s shot. The third-year guard showed good hands to force turnover on Shake Milton. In the same game, Baulkman had a solid defensive possession on Milton where he didn't let him get set then pressured Keenan Evans, which caused Evans to nearly turn the ball over.

Along with his tenacity on the defensive end, Baulkman showed he could drain open shots off of drive and kick outs, drain open three off an extra pass, and can finish lobs at the rim. The 6’4” guard had several games where he drained three or four three-pointers. He connected on 57.1 percent (4-of-7) against the Salt Lake City Stars and 50 percent (4-of-8) of his threes against the Canton Charge.

Baulkman posted a near double-double (17 points and seven rebounds) late in the season against the Wisconsin Herd. He had a stretch of games where he was effective on the defensive end and scored in double figures in six of eight game
