In his first season in Westchester, Moore found multiple ways to make an impact and was a veteran presence on the team.

After spending last season with Asociacion Deportiva Atenas in Argentina and CD Las Animas in Chile, J.J Moore wanted to come back to the G League this season. After a trade between the Raptors 905 and Westchester Knicks, Moore had the opportunity to continue his basketball dream close to home.

In his tenure in Westchester, Moore made an impact on the court and off the court. Before each game, he would dap up his teammates as they enter the court before tip off. He was a veteran presence on a young team and showed to be a valuable contributor on the team.

The veteran showed to be an efficient shooter, as he shot 47.1 percent from the floor and was fifth in field goal percentage on the team, and shot nearly 40 percent (39.7) from beyond the arc. His season high was 27 points against the Raptors 905, while he shot 70 percent from the field twice (minimum 10 shots attempted) and his most efficient perimeter shooting game was 83.3 percent (5-of-6).

He showed to be a good defender and was vocal on the court. When his shots weren't falling, Moore still found ways to make an impact on the floor. He wasn't much of a rebounder in his career. While the 6’6” forward totaled seven or more rebounds in seven games in the previous three seasons, he accomplished that same feat in 41 games this season.
