With less than zero cap space the Blazers had to go for a euro-stash with at least one of their picks. Luckily they were still able to get a player with a ton of potential. Pascniks is massive, 7'2 and long, but also very agile for his height. There also seems to be potential for a capable 3-point shot. He does have to gain some weight and some toughness before he is NBA ready, but by adding the 20-year-old Pascniks, the Blazers were able to add value in an asset without adding to their ugly cap situation.
