Our friends at HoopsHype have put together a comprehensive list of all the "fringe" type players joining NBA teams for training camp next week.
Of course, many of these aforementioned players happen to be D-League alum.
Mickell Gladness will be joining the Heat for the second year in a row. Mychel Thompson will be in camp with the Knicks, his former D-League squad's (the Erie BayHawks) NBA affiliate.
Even Jonny Flynn, who logged a rehab assignment in the D-League, will have to fight his way on the Pistons' roster this fall.
Needless to say, the list of D-League notables goes on, as seen by taking a more in depth look at the list.
With NBA teams looking to stash young talent on their training camp rosters in hopes of protecting them for each respective D-League affiliate, next week will be a great opportunity to see what kind of talent will be hitting the hardwood for minor league squads in just a matter of weeks.
