2013 NBA D-League Draft To Be Held On November 1st

The journey to the NBA for hundreds of new basketball prospects is set to begin on November 1st, when this year's D-League Draft will take place.

Just a quick note here: RidiculousUpside.com has learned that the 2013 NBA D-League Draft will take place on Friday evening, November 1st.

While getting drafted into the NBA's minor league may not seem like the most glamorous of accomplishments for such prospects, it's difficult to deny the talent level available, in addition to the type of doors such an opportunity can open.

Our ole' pal Gino Pilato has already confirmed that Aquille Carr has signed his D-League contract, and is likely to be among the top picks in next month's draft.

As the day grows nearer, RidiculousUpside.com has and will also continue to confirm a multitude of intriguing young guns (including the pictured Derick Beltran) who are hopeful of getting a shot at the D-League (and perhaps even the NBA not soon after) via the draft.
