Woj: NBA D-League Stud Seth Curry Returning to Santa Cruz Warriors

According to a report, Seth Curry will return to the Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA D-League after being waived by the Memphis Grizzlies.

Santa Cruz Warriors stud turned Memphis Grizzlies' guard Seth Curry was waived by the NBA squad earlier this week, just falling short of the mark to see his contract become guaranteed for the year.

And though ten-day contracts can now officially be signed, the Grizzlies have opted not to re-sign Stephen Curry's brother, according to Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski.

The youngster will reportedly re-join Santa Cruz in Reno this week for the latter part of the annual NBA D-League Showcase. If there's any silver lining to this at all, it's the fact that Curry will be back in town in time for the Warriors' second Showcase matchup against the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. It'll be in this 2013 D-League Finals rematch during which Curry will be able to strut his stuff and put his skills on display for the slew of NBA executives ready to be amazed.

The guard's return could also mean that there won't be a roster spot to be had for former Santa Cruz floor general Scott Machado, as previously reported.
