2014 NCAA Slam Dunk Champion Marcus Lewis (And Others) Leaping Into NBA D-League Draft

High-flying Marcus Lewis is one of the latest young guns to enter the 2014 NBA D-League Draft. Here's the scoop on him, as well as some others.

Could there be a new high-flyer in town? Will someone be giving Reno Bighorns' guard Rashard James a run for his money?

That may indeed end up being true, as Marcus Lewis of Eastern Kentucky (the 2014 NCAA StateFarm Slam Dunk Contest champion) could be hitting the NBA D-League hardwood at some point. The guard has entered the 2014 NBA D-League Draft.

The athletic leaper is just the latest young gun to sign a D-League contract and gain subsequent eligibility for the draft.

UPDATE: Lewis has since been claimed, and will be spending training camp with the Mad Ants:
