D-League Alum Of The Day: Ron Howard

+

While never playing a second of NBA regular season action, Ron Howard became notorious around basketball by his near legendary status in the D-League and with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. Spending seven seasons with the team, Howard averaged 17.5 points on 46% shooting. That consistent play helped lead Howard to three trips to the NBADL All-Star Game while also being named the league's MVP in the 2013-14 season. Following that success, Ron "Mr. Mad Ant" Howard decided to take his talents to the Philippines and play with Pirates de Quebradillas. In 12 games, Howard has averaged 11.8 points on 45% shooting in 20 minutes per game.
