NBA D-League All-Star Weekend is approaching and with that, one of the more anticipated events of the year is right around the corner. While the three-point shootout is always an attraction, especially with the sharpshooters that the D-League has to offer, but historically it has been the dunk contest that grabs the most attention.
With the field that the league has assembled for this year's event, this has the makings of being one of the more exciting contests that we've seen in recent seasons. Each of the dunkers has an impressive background in regards to their athleticism, so this is truly going to be a can't-miss event.
John Jordan - Raptors 905
Walter Lemon Jr. - Fort Wayne Mad Ants
D.J. Stephens - Canton Charge
Keifer Sykes - Austin Spurs
J.P. Tokoto - Oklahoma City Blue
Jarvis Threatt - Rio Grande Valley Vipers
There are going to be a wide variety of styles on display on February 13th, ranging from the power of J.P. Tokoto to the sheer leaping ability of smaller players like Keifer Sykes and the defending champion Jarvis Threatt. Each of them bring something different to the table and it should be entertaining to see play out.
