NBA Mock Draft Pick #28 -- Jordan Bell, Power Forward, Oregon Ducks

SBNation’s Los Angeles Lakers blog Silver Screen and Roll explains their pick:

The Lakers were hopeful DJ Wilson would be available at No. 28 for a shot at a stretch big, but with him off the board earlier than anticipated, Bell makes sense to help address another issue at center. Jordan's defensive potential is enough to earn him a look here, giving the Lakers some additional end-of-the-bench depth. Bell will probably spend some extending time working with the South Bay Lakers, much like Ivica Zubac did last season, but that's a good opportunity for LA to see if they found another diamond in the rough deep in the draft.
