The Charlotte Hornets need scoring and they need depth on the interior. Hachimura checks both of those boxes. He’ll pair nicely with Miles Bridges to give the Hornets a hard-nosed, athletic duo at the forward positions long term. Assuming Kemba Walker stays, Hachimura can grow into the extra scorer Walker has needed to keep defenses from overcommitting to him, and he fits nicely in the development timeline with the other Hornets youngsters.
