2010 Orlando Summer League
NBA Orlando Pro Summer League 2010: Day 2 Preview
Today's action in Orlando's version of the NBA Summer League begins with James Augustine and the Utah Jazz versus Daniel Orton's temper tantrums Orlando Magic. We know which one should look better, but that doesn't mean as much as I'd like.
As I've mentioned over and over again, the majority of these games will be available on NBA TV. For those that don't have access to NBA TV (like me), however, there is the availability to watch all of the Summer League games online for $14.95 - as well as the chance to watch games on demand.
I've hidden "what to watch for" after the jump!
NBA Orlando Pro Summer League 2010: Day 1 In Review
The NBA Summer League season is officially underway as Monday's clash between the Charlotte Bobcats and Utah Jazz tipped off the Orlando Pro Summer League down in Florida.
For the next two weeks, we'll be covering every excruciating minute of both the Orlando and Vegas Summer League (so follow us on Twitter here and here). We'll have the previews each day (as shown here) as well as as a review - as shown... well, that's what I'm sorting out right now.
Since most people visiting Ridiculous Upside are probably doing so as a way to see who's looking good and bad at Summer League in lieu of a recap of each game, I've decided to bring back the lovely Monstars and Nonstars that we employed during the D-League playoffs.
What this will mean, typically, is that we'll profile the day's three best (Monstars!) and worst players in handy bullet form fashion for your perusing pleasure. Most likely, though, we'll stay away form the NBA Draft picks just because that's too easy - and they're already hyped/written about enough everywhere else.
Let's begin!
NBA Orlando Pro Summer League 2010: Day 1 Preview
Finally!
The first portion of the NBA Summer League begins today in Orlando with a match-up between Darius Miles and the Charlotte Bobcats versus Rod "Boom Tho" Benson's Utah Jazz.
As I've mentioned over and over again, the majority of these games will be available on NBA TV. For those that don't have access to NBA TV (like me), however, there is the availability to watch all of the Summer League games online for $14.95 - as well as the chance to watch games on demand.
What to watch for in each game after the jump - and if you're a fellow Summer League junkie, feel free to use this as an open thread (I'll even join you!).
OKC Thunder Summer League Roster
In continuing the series of spending way too much time telling you more than you need to know about players that don't have NBA contracts, I present the Oklahoma City Thunder Summer League roster in excruciating detail.
For a look at the rest of the Orlando Summer League rosters, check this out: New Jersey Nets, Utah Jazz, Philadelphia 76ers, Orlando Magic, Indiana Pacers, Boston Celtics.
For the Vegas Summer League rosters, refer to this post.

For your reference, I won't be talking about D.J. White, Kyle Weaver, Byron Mullens, Eric Maynor, Serge Ibaka or James Harden - they're already guaranteed to play in the NBA next season and you should probably be able to learn everything you need to know about them over at Welcome To Loud City.
I'm going to list the players by position, then how likely it is that they'll appear on any NBA roster next season. With as many rotation players as the Thunder included, though, I don't know how many of these guys will be given a legitimate chance.
Boston Celtics Summer League Roster

For the Vegas Summer League rosters, refer to this post.
Other entries thus far in the series include: New Jersey Nets, Utah Jazz, Philadelphia 76ers, Orlando Magic, Indiana Pacers.

I'm going to list the players by position, then how likely it is that they'll appear on any NBA roster next season.
Also, what's up with the numbers and the fact that eight of their invites are white dudes?
Indiana Pacers Summer League Roster
Buzzah, wha? No, I haven't been sleeping for the last few weeks, but you're forgiven for thinking so (I'm assuming you all have noticed how infrequently I've been posting lately, and not just Scott). But it's almost Summer League time! The Orlando league kicks off in just three days, so to continue our effort to get you up to speed with who will be there, here's a breakdown of the Indiana Pacers' roster.

As with the other teams, I'll leave out names you're already familiar with (McRoberts, George, Stephenson) for those you may not be. These will be broken down by position, in the order of how much of a chance I think they have of playing in the NBA next year (though I'll probably be wrong) - again, same as the rest.

Philadelphia 76ers Summer League Roster
Okay, okay, okay. Let's get this out of the way.
OMGFREEAGENCYWHATSLEBRONGONNADO
CANHEPLAYWITHWADEANDBOSH?!@?!?!?!??
Happy? Now we can handle some more important business. Like the Sixers summer team. Exactly. Here's your up-to-date roster, minus DeVon Hardin, who was re-snatched by Oklahoma City and the all-powerful League. Plenty of intrigue here.
Sneak Preview: Someone named Ndudi is on the team. I'm not gonna say his last name, you'll have to hit the jump for that, this ain't a free library (it is).
