Erie BayHawks' head coach John Treloar will resign from that position to become the Director of Player Personnel for the Phoenix Suns. Treloar, the first and only head coach in BayHawks' history, led the team to a 48-52 overall record over two seasons, including a playoff berth during the team's expansion season in 2008-09. The move to Phoenix was more than likely helped by Treloar's history with new Suns general manager Lance Blanks, as Blanks worked closely with Treloar during his time as the assistant general manager with the Cleveland Cavaliers. The BayHawks are affiliated with the Cleveland Cavaliers and ran the team's offense under Treloar. For more on the story, check the full report at FanHouse.
