Andrew Goudelock's Future

Andrew Goudelock could not have done anymore with the opportunities he was given. After being a second round pick, he was cut in training camp and quickly latched onto the Houston Rockets D-League affiliate Rio Grande Valley Vipers and won the MVP award in the D-League.

Goudelock was then called up by the Lakers and made a major impact in the postseason. Goudelock's playoff stats were as follows: 12 ppg, 1.7 rpg, 1.0 apg, 1.7 spg, 0.444 gg, and 0.200 3fg.

Goudelock proved he could play against the big boys, and it looks like the D-League proved dividends in the long run for him.

Teams interested in Goudelock could be:

Golden State Warriors: If Jarrett Jack departs via free agency than the Dubs will need a backup point guard who can score.

Milwaukee Bucks: If Brandon Jennings, J.J. Reddick and Monta Ellis all depart than the Bucks will need a point guard capable of scoring.

New York Knicks: Goudelock would be an inexpensive option at the guard position for the Knicks. The Knickerbockers need to get younger and is Pablo Prigioni goes back to Spain and Jason Kidd retires than the Knicks could add Goudelock as a young scoring option.

Los Angeles Lakers: This is probably the most likely option as he knows the organization and coaching staff well. Goudelock performed well in Purple and Gold and will likely be back there on an inexpensive deal.
