Charlotte Hornets Looking To Own, Operate An NBADL Team

Per a report from the Charlotte Observer's Rick Bonnell, the Charlotte Hornets are looking to own an NBADL franchise by the 2016-17 season. Bonnell reported that the Hornets have seven potential host cities in mind: Asheville, Charleston, Columbia, Fayetteville, Greensboro, Greenville (in South Carolina), and Raleigh. Charlotte's interest in the D-League isn't new, as they drafted former Legends guard PJ Hairston during the 2014 draft.
