NBA Mock Draft Pick #23 -- Semi Ojeleye, Power Forward, SMU

SBNation’s Toronto Raptors blog Raptors HQ explains this pick:

What's this, a mobile big man who can make 3-pointers, create his own shot, and power his way into the paint? It is indeed. The Raptors will happily take a player with Semi Ojeleye's physical gifts and apparent basketball talent with the 23rd pick in the NBA Draft. Yes, Ojeleye's not exactly big enough to be a power forward, and he may not have the reach to be any sort of a shot blocker, but he's got a versatile skill set and room to improve in some of the more subtle aspects of the game. It's hard, however, to overlook a 6'7", 235 point wing who shot 53 percent from the field, and 42 percent from deep. Add to these facts the obvious need Toronto has at the wing -- with DeMarre Carroll a shell of himself, P.J. Tucker possibly out the door, and Norman Powell more of a 2/3 than 3/4 -- and the selection speaks for itself.
