NBA Mock Draft Pick #22 — Josh Okogie, Guard, Georgia Tech
SB Nation’s Chicago Bulls blog Blog-a-Bull explains the pick:
We like Okogie as a potential high-motor 3-and-D wing. He flies around the court defensively, making up for his lack of height (6’4) with elite athleticism, a strong frame and plus-length (7-foot wingspan). He’s also proven himself to be a good three-point shooter, hitting 38 percent of his threes across two seasons at Georgia Tech and knocking in better than 80 percent of his free throws this year. He reminds me a bit of David Nwaba, who was one of the few joys in an otherwise morbid Bulls season. And unlike Nwaba, he has serious upside as a catch-and-shoot threat from range. The Bulls need some defense and athleticism, making Okogie a natural pick at this spot.
