D-League Call Ups.

I am happy to see that a lot of D-league guys are getting called up but why do teams wait till the end of the season to make call ups.   Some of the D-league players have shown that after the first half of there season that they belong in the NBA.  Some of them played on NBA summer leagues and showed that they can play.  The thanks that they get is to get called up by a team that is not going to make the playoffs and fill in for practices for players that are going to sit out unitil next season.
