Who Wants To Buy A D-League Team?
From the great Lou Babiarz:
Dakota Wizards majority owner Steve McCormick has always said the team was available for the right price. After seven years of running the club, McCormick and minority owner Dawn Kopseng are actively looking for someone to meet that price.
McCormick said that due to financial cooperation from the D-League, the Wizards will be profitable this season for the first time since the franchise made the jump from the now defunct Continental Basketball Association in 2006. But McCormick and his wife, Karen, would like to spend more time in their other home in Arizona and want to sell the team.
"We would kind of like to exit," McCormick said. "It's time."

If it gets sold,
I could see a team relocation. This is when a NBA team needs to step up and make it their affiliate.

It bothers me that none of the D-League teams worked out in North Carolina
The Wizards could probably stay in the black in they moved to Greensboro, NC. Half the folk there can’t even get Bobcats’ games…Time Warner is the devil.
