NBA Mock Draft: Atlanta Hawks Select Gary Harris from Michigan State

NBA Mock Draft Pick #15, Gary Harris, Guard, Michigan State

We had several options at the No. 15 pick but chose to go with Gary Harris because of his defensive ability from the two-guard position. Atlanta needs depth on the wing and feel that Harris is a guy that can come in and contribute right away due to his defensive acumen. It was tough to pass on the potential of James Young but we feel like Harris' can fit well into Mike Budenholzer's system. Harris does add to what is an already crowded backcourt in Atlanta but we feel that situation will be sorted out later this summer.
