The Thunderbirds have really turned it around this year. They started off the year 2-10 and have now turned it around to 11-12. They have done this with the veteran leadership from Will Conroy and Kieth Mcleod. Also they have done this with the most under rated coach in the league. John Coffino works hard and it pays off. He is in the gym all day working out his players trying to get them to the next level. The team has change so much from the beginning of the year and they are finally starting to mesh and play together. They split the last two games beating Fort Wayne and losing a heartbreaker to Austin.

The Thunderbirds are looking great. I like the turnarounds we’ve seen this year in the league. First, the Jam becoming a force in the league after a terrible season last year. And the Thunderbirds comeback is what fans live for. Conroy should be getting a call up soon. He’s one of those great scoring point guards. I think the Grizzlies should be looking at him with all their disappointments at the position this season.

As for who’s gonna win it all this year? The Jam are great, but I don’t think they’re the best right now. I went with Iowa, though Idaho was very close to getting my vote. Both teams have lost their go-to guys, but they have enough talent to still stay afloat. Iowa has the most solid roster in the league. They have talent at every position.

Iowa?

I’m going to have to go with Idaho… Much better coaching. Better players overall…
Luke Jackson, Dwayne Jones, Lance Allred, Demetris Nichols, Brent Petway, Jamaal Tatum…. That team could have won at least seven or eight games this season in the NBA!

Ridiculous? I think Not.
Upside? Plenty.
