Skyforce Lose 5th Straight at Home
Ugh, I dont want to write this.
This team is not good. Notably, John Edwards. As far as 7 footers go (give or take an inch), he sucks. His helpside D is terrible, he gets pushed around when he's on offense, and doesn't board strong. Awful player.
FTW (Ft. Wayne from now on) got up ealy and held the lead the whole game. Nothing really spectacular to report here. The 'Force made a run to cut from 21 down to 4 in the fourth but mental errors killed them. Keith Brumbaugh decided to take a 2 on 4 fast break with about a mintue left and threw it away. Combined with other turnovers and stupid mistakes it was just a rough game. Nothing to write home about.
Wait, one thing to write about. Kasib Powell missed the entire 2nd half with some sort of calf injury. He had it iced and was on the bench after the break.
Highlight - Tibbets benching Edwards, going with a 5 of Bailey, Williams, Jones, McGowan, and Brumbaugh, and the Force almost pulling out the come back.
Lowlight - everything else. This team is not good. It should be. How can they not win at home?
Bonus Points for reader - Legler once called SF fans "Crazy" (not in a good way) for being so intense about the Skyforce during the CBA days.

Yikes
Sounds a lot like the Dakota game earlier in the week… Edwards is not good. Powell sat on the bench on the 2nd half.
Ridiculous? I think Not.
Upside? Plenty.
