NBA Summer League Rosters Taking Shape
UPDATED - check after the jump for everything updated in the past three days.
Alright, we got all of the personal mumbo-jumbo out of the way - let's begin with the Summer League coverage!
The Orlando of the NBA Summer League schedule (July 6-10) is here, the Vegas portion of the NBA Summer League schedule (July 10-19) is here and the NBA Summer League roster of your favorite team (so far) is... After the jump!
I was all drafted out, so sorry for the lack of posting going on this weekend - I sincerely apologize to all thirteen of you that were disappointed. As a show of goodwill, I worked feverishly throughout the weekend to scour my sources, google the news, and do anything and everything I could to start piecing together an accurate view of what your team will look like this Summer.
Granted, it's probably not likely to expect much out of some of these players, but each year there are players that pop up from nowhere in Summer League and impress enough to earn a spot on an NBA roster. The most recent example would be Bobby Brown from last season, though there are plenty more (and we'll look at them throughout the next week heading into the Orlando portion of NBA Summer League's).
After the jump, I've put together a list of which players I've (all but) confirmed. If you're aware of anymore, let me know in the comments! If you're unsure of one of the players, click on the link - it'll either take you to their SBNation page or, if they're a bit more obscure, whichever source linked them to said Summer League team.

Wow
Mad props to you Sir Scott. Can players be on both the Orlando and Vegas teams? Or are Rob Kurz and Blake Ahearn playing in two places at once?

Both separate
Intriguing to me is the Rob Kurz. He played for the Warriors this past season, and he’ll be playing for them in Vegas. Obviously doesn’t seem too hopeful that the W’s will keep him around…
I’m trying to think about who played in multiple places last season.. Keith Langford comes to mind, but not sure who else.

Earl Calloway
Earl Calloway played for both the Jazz and the Pacers Summer League teams last year. He then received a big money deal in Croatia. So conclusively I can say playing for two Summer League teams will get you a nice six figure contract in Croatia.

This is really great.
I’ve already been able to refer to it elsewhere. Interesting to see Hendrix and Ahearn getting multiple looks.

I do wonder if this is the answer
to my questioning whether the Summer League is worth it. One of the problems as I saw it was that if a guy got cut, so many other teams weren’t really exposed to what he could do. Perhaps playing on two (or three?) different Summer League teams will be a way for players to have a shot at increasing their chances even beyond the “well now he’s playing for two teams” aspect.

The OKC, Clippers, NJ/76ers, and Grizzlies rosters look fun. I would like to see Mayo play at least one game.
Oh yeah, add D.J. White and note Westbrook is only to play in Orlando.
During his end-of-the-season interview with the media, Thunder General Manager Sam Presti said that rookies D.J. White and Kyle Weaver, along with point guard Shaun Livingston and international prospects DeVon Hardin and Serge Ibaka will represent Oklahoma City in Las Vegas. Point guard Russell Westbrook was expected to play in the Orlando Summer League but not Las Vegas. Should the Thunder use its No. 3 and No. 25 picks in this year’s draft, those players are also expected to join the summer league team.

ON AIR???????
Who and how often will these games be aired? Will they be aired online? I’m sure NBA channel will air its fair share but how many are we talking about here? Wondering if it will be worth me ordering that channel this summer… What is the status of Chris Hunters injury? Will he be able to play any this summer? Thanks for the rundown on the rosters! Enjoyed this….

They’ll all be live and on the internet - futurecast style. I’m not sure about TV schedules.
Hunter is not healthy enough to play this summer.
