Want To Know What's New In The NBA D-League? Okay, Read This!
I actually have a lot of things in the works as far as unfinished projects for Ridiculous Upside are concerned. Unfortunately, they are still all unfinished on this beautiful Monday morning so all 13 of our loyal readers will instead be subjected to links to a few mostly-relevant posts related to the NBA Development League.
First and foremost, however, I ask that you read my Chris Taft comeback story from late last week. I can't say it's going to be an easy road back to the NBA, but one has to be impressed that he's even attempting a return to basketball after the injuries he's already had to overcome.
The Canton NBA D-League team hasn't named its team yet, but they're apparently close to naming their coach. General Manager Wes Wilcox has apparently tabbed NAIA coach Jeff Young as one of two finalists for the job. The other finalist is completely unknown, at least as far as my sources are concerned.
Forgot to mention this awhile ago, but the Springfield Armor hired Chris Carrawell -- a former standout for the Duke Blue Devils -- as the team's assistant coach. Be on the lookout for an interview with head coach Bob MacKinnon sometime in the near future.
Anything else exciting out there?

You turned 17 last week, Happy Birthday.
This must be your best shot at a hangover post.

My guy 7foot 2" Fadel Seck should go early in the draft…hailing from senegal, and now residing in the US…he made big waves at the Kentucky tryouts this summer…hope nbadl is ready for some highlights ! !

I’m sorry, I say this not to be rude, but from the one video I found on YouTube, that dude looks terrible. I couldn’t find one discernible high level basketball skill (height is not a skill,) and he looked to have the fundamentals of your average middle school player.

It’s tough to judge a guy off of a Youtube video.
I write about basketball players with Ridiculous Upside. I know you'll love it.

You are right, height is not a skill, its an asset! Ask any basketball scout or general manager, they will tell you the same…Let the hating begin haha… With no nba this year, the nbadl could get some highlights on sportscenter and make a name, especially with someone like fadel coming from outta nowhere…ridiculous upside to say the least…bless
