LA Defenders

Last night I attended the Arsenal Defender game at Hope International University in Fullerton. Some of the names were familiar, Cummings, Bozeman. One of the players for the Defenders that may not be a household name is Ryan Forehan-Kelly. It seemed that every time he came into the game the Defenders started playing more of a team approach versus the run and gun when Brandon Heath was running the offense. Forehan-Kelly seems to have a real grasp of the triangle and the Defenders narrowed the gap each time he came into the game. It will be interesting to see how the team progresses without a seasoned post player. Rashid Byrd is a raw talent but I'm not sure the Defenders would not be better off with Jelani McCoy if he is available and wanting to come back.
